Sandy...

Yup... not even basketball was safe from Sandy's wrath.

8 days without power but GraceAnne was still able to get some training in thanks to Jay Hernandez. Jay was nice enough to open the gym for a few days of Pro-Hoops Academy in spite of the fact that he went without power for 10 days. What a mess! Something nice about being in a gym when life gets complicated, seems to simplify things.

Varsity basketball meetings and tryouts postponed. CYO playoffs canceled. Northsport fall league playoffs postponed to this Sunday.

Life goes on. Rim is still 18" wide and 10' off the ground. Grace will get back after it this Sunday.
