This is video of the girls' experience at the Pursuit Beyond basketball clinic in Newtown Connecticut last weekend. Thanks again to Brittany, Gianna, Tiffany, Kelly and Kyra (who is going to be a star someday soon! ;o) ). The Grace's had a great time, loved every minute and learned a lot too!

3-2 Zone Principles and Rotations

In a 3-2 zone you must pressure the ball with on-ball perimeter defense. This means closing out on the pass, going over screens, trapping the corners and ball denial, post players should be denying the post entry pass (fronting or 3/4 in the post). Defensive rotation is critical as it is in all zone defenses. This can be a fun defense to play that confuses offenses and leads to steals and breaks.
