Summer Season

Grace dropped 12 on Our Lady of Hope last night on six for twelve shooting, 9 rebounds, three steals and an assist. She drove coast to coast a couple times and scored once from the left side doing it.



Storm won 47 to 18. Girls all looked like they were having fun.

3-2 Zone Principles and Rotations

In a 3-2 zone you must pressure the ball with on-ball perimeter defense. This means closing out on the pass, going over screens, trapping the corners and ball denial, post players should be denying the post entry pass (fronting or 3/4 in the post). Defensive rotation is critical as it is in all zone defenses. This can be a fun defense to play that confuses offenses and leads to steals and breaks. A Gathering Storm!
